"So Far, So Good...So What!"
January 19, 1988 Megadeth releases their third studio album, "So Far, So Good...So What!" The album would be their fastest selling at this point in their career and would eventually reach platinum status and propel Megadeth further into Metal's mainstream. Lineup changes mark this period for Megadeth, as drummer Chuck Behler and guitar player Jeff Young would both appear on the album and be canned by the end of the tour.
Megadeth acknowledges Speed Metal's debt to 70s Punk with their cover of The Sex Pistol's "Anarchy in the UK."
